Installed some covers that go over the top of the stock hand guards, they do block the wind a little better than stock, I’m hoping they help keep my gloves dry when riding in rain but so far since installing them I haven’t ridden in a lot of rain. Here is a link, bought mine about two years ago for about $60 so apparently the price has taken a pretty big jump since then, like most motorcycle stuff crazy expensive.

Heated grips is definitely the big key for keeping hands a little warmer, since my first set of heated grips back in the 80’s I haven’t owned a motorcycle without installing heated grips.

I have these too. They are not as restrictive-feeling as something like Hippo Hands; your hands are more "behind" these as opposed to "inside" of them (wrist-deep like some other products) but I find them effective at taking away the wind chill and protecting my hands from the rain. These things and the OEM heated grips made for a comfy weekend riding in 30F degree temps this past weekend wearing my summer gloves (I don't like bulky winter gloves and the corresponding loss of feeling on the controls).

Yes the little rain I have ridden in the OBR guards did manage to keep my gloves nice and dry.
installing or removing the guards is relatively easy so I took them off last June for an Arizona Trip in hot weather, I plan on re installing them any day now since the colder weather has returned.
