Gen 1 Rear running lights

I rarely look at my bike running at night. Last night I noticed that my rear blinkers don't come on for running lights like my fronts do. Seems like they use to. I awt to know. I've had this bike 9 years.

Mine has never done this must be a US deal. Nice idea though.

As stated, it’s only the front that are running lights.. just your imagination if you think the rear indicators ever light up (except when turning!!).

When you first said that I thought maybe the running light part was burned out and the bulb needed replacing but went out and checked my 2018 and there are no rear running lights there either.
Checked Goldwing and it’s the same thing no rear running lights for turn signals.
