Gel added to stock seat

Has anyone taken their stock seat to an upholstery guy to have a foan pieces removed and gel added? Good quality gel “sheets” are pretty inexpensive so I have been kicking around the idea about having my stock seat made into a gel seat. Just completed a 2200 round trip ride and my only complaint about the bike is the seat!

There are many videos of this mod on youtube, also a member on the S10 F/B has recently done it.

I haven't done it to the Tenere, but I did switch out the ST1300's seat for gel. Looked exactly the same; felt exactly the same....until I spent time in the saddle. Then....the gel....like a totally different bike. Huntington Beach Honda did the work; I tried to get them to re-do my FJ's seat; they only do Hondas.
