I am using this one, pretty satisfied. It is my second unit, first went with the previous bike to the new owner. Once you get used to all its functions (which takes some time) it is pretty reliable. No problems with vibes and rain, also the screen is OK in sunshine. Avoid using the adventurous routing function inside the cities, then it will direct you through yards and other strange places :).
I link both my phone and intercom to it via bletooth, load music on the memoricard and then can pretty much do everything on its screen while riding: gps, phone, music, incoming mails and notifications, etc. I have done a testride on BMW newest models with their inbuilt bluetooth mediasystem, but for me the Garmin is much more comfortable to operate than the one on BMW.

I use a Zumo 590 running 595 software (only difference between the two), I really like it. Nice improvement over the Zumo 660 I used a number of years ago.

Does what I want, fairly configurable. The only improvements I would like is better music/Spotify interface.

If you get it, I highly recommend the Garmin traffic/weather add on which costs something like $10.

Another positive vote for the 595. I got the LM version.

There is a learning curve and it took me a very long time and several YouTube videos to figure out how to get it to use pre-planned tracks/routes with Basecamp. But it does work and really helps with dual sport riding.

I like the adventurous routing in the back roads of WI when I'm not trying to get somewhere fast. Takes me on roads and to places I'd otherwise never go. But in the city, I cannot imagine the chaos.

I wish it didn't require a hardwired mount. I actually bought a second mount and redid the wiring on the mount so I could use it on other bikes. The S10 is hardwired. On my 2016, it clamps to my Madstad accessory bar via a ram mount with no issues.

Been using a 595 for about 3 years and like it but in my opinion Garmin made some pretty poor choices when designing the 595, if you put my old Nuvi 1450 beside the 595 it’s very disappointing to see how much better the old 1450 screen was. they made a major mistake designing without a built in speaker thus forcing you to buy some sort of headset for a lot of extra money Just so you can hear the GPS. They should have designed it with a very easy way to switch between adventurous routing and fastest route with the single push of a button.

I use the powered cradle that come with the unit and any number of RAM mounting points. Currently I'm using one of their handlebar mounts. Good and solid.

My 595LM was an upgrade from my old 76CSX. This thing has so many dang features it's mind boggling. I'm still figuring out how to interface it for turn to turn. I'm just now learning to use my first ever Sena 20 bluetooth system I just added to my Neotech helmet. And hell yes that headset system is a lot of dough!!

I found out by accident this morning that my Garmn Smartlink and Spotify apps give me music and traffic delay displays on the unit. I just need to get the turn to turn voice dialed in. The Sena 20 has the option to turn down music volume automatically when getting audible directions from GPS or incoming call. I'm figuring all this stuff out in the driveway. I sure as hell don't want to be playing with buttons and figuring things out on the road. I had a hell of a time on my morning ride. today I ended up just leaving the music on or pausing a song because I could not figure out how to turn it off!!

The other feature that is taking getting used to is downloading tracks, converting them to routes, and reversing them to backtracking from Base Camp. Simplicity is not the best with this unit. OTOH, I really like the accuracy of a GPS. And the TPS feature is really really nice!!

I don't have buyers remorse but I'm struggling to transition from paper maps and compass. I still keep paper maps handy on big rides. I kind of miss the days of simple rides using landmarks, checking back-trail and just picking a place on the map to go to.

And yes the screen is really hard to read in sunlight. I ended up buying a custom shade that actually works really well. He no longer makes them but a German company has a really nice one:

And Cycledude, I'm blow away once again on the miles you keep peeling off on the Goldwing!! I saw a post a day or so ago showing more miles on that damn bike!!

I’m also using one and mostly agree with the above.
I had mine mounted in the center of the handle bars but currently have it on the screens crossbar. Kinda like the center handle bar mount better.

At first I used a Ram Mount clamped to handlebar, eventually rough roads would cause the clamp to move. So I bought a Ram Mount off eBay for about $10 that replaces one of the handlebar bolts, it has never moved and it’s pretty easy to rest my hand on the tank bag in order to operate the GPS while moving, but I prefer not to monkey with the gps while moving.
Never attempted the screen crossbar Mount , seems like that would make the GPS nearly impossible to operate while driving ? But otherwise that does seem like a nice easy to view location.

I mounted on the windscreen crossbar, there was some shake, I added a pair of braces made by a gentleman from Appleton WI, took the shake out. I can reach it just fine, but many times I will use the GPS when I am stopped. I do not find the screen quite bright enough, even worse when I wear my silver mesh jacket (reflection). Presently working on a sun shield. '

Biggest problem I had was with the seller. They shipped one with a door that did not fit. I forced it, ended up screwing up the little clasp. I returned to Garmin, they then shipped me a refurb unit in place of the new one I had purchased! It does seem to work well enough though. Suggest you not buy from Amazon, better to find one local maybe.

I like the option to find fun roads, you can customize it to get roads to suit. There are a ton of menu levels, I am still learning the damn thing after 4 months. I wish I could lock it to the bike, but I am not going to pay $175 for the locking mount. I just stick it in my pocket when I leave the bike.

I bought the locking mount Danny. It's expensive but well worth it. That mount has rubber isolators that extend the life of the unit considerably. I still have a Touratech CSX76 mount holding strong on my Beta after 7 years and 300+ hours of hard use. They are proven bulletproof through many rock tumbles and lowside/highsides.

One of the reasons I put it on the crossbar is to keep from monkeying with it. I didn't help but my eyes are fwd looking not downward now.
A bad habit that I need to stop.
