Sold!!! For sale is a front only Corbin saddle. This should fit all years. I used it on my 2013 in both the low and high position. No rips, cuts, stains, tears... $230 shipped in continental U.S. or available for local pick up in Dover, Pa.

To be honest I am not sure if it is vinyl or leather. It feels and looks like leather to me but maybe I am easily fooled. I prefer the gripper fabric of the stock seat more than the smooth surface of the Corbin.

So, I guess it doesn't really matter who sends what and when. It didn't really matter that I took the time and interest to send you a message before zxrider11, did it?
There are no moral rules around here, no common courtesy or respect. This post is a prime example on how some of the items in the "for sale" section are sold. Above other people's heads. It is not the first time it happened to me, and I am true to my word. I don't like to stir crap but someone acts like ride1st and I must bring it to the attention of someone. Maybe one of the moderators will feel compelled to get at the bottom of this c r a p, so it won't happen again.
This post of mine is not a sign of frustration or desperation. I have seats, trust me. I can even go to Hollister tomorrow just for kicks, but I can't tolerate such a despicable behaviour, that's all.
By the way, he did send me a PM and I was waiting on him to take some measurements of the actual seat. Said he was at work and couldn't get to it until tomorrow. Way to go, pal!

When I sell stuff, I try to go down the list of interested parties. I won't wait long for a response, however. The other interested party was less of a headache, so he went with that. No problem there.

Sorta like selling stuff on CL. Everyone is real interested and will be there at xxx time to absolutely buy it, then never shows up. Or shows up and says hold it til next week, I'm definitely going to buy it. ::005:: First one to put money in my hand or paypal gets it.

Complaining to a moderator? None of the rules were violated so what's the point? Maybe the other fella offered more money.

I'm on calboys side on this one. People send private messages and don't post here so you
never know what the order is. Hell I'm even starting to do it.
There I feel better.

I've been on both ends, and feel like I've been slighted before. However I feel the seller should be able to do what they want until a deal is actually made. So unless the seller promised anything, a deal wasn't made. I hate it when someone says "I'll take it" then has a bunch of questions and ends up having an issue with price or something else.

I'm not adding any fuel on this, but the word, 'assumption' plays a big part. As the previous poster said, it happens to both parties, let it go and move on.

Sorry if Calboy got his feelings hurt. If a situation like this upsets you so much that you describe it as despicable, maybe the internet is not for you. You had questions, how wide is it, is the foam hard or soft... I try to answer all questions as quickly and as honestly as I can. Until someone commits to buy, the item remains for sale. ZX11rider responded both here and at advrider where I had it posted saying he would buy it. Sorry if I gave you the impression that I was holding the seat for yo,u until you got through your Goldilocks complex of this one being just right. ::021::

Sorry Calboy, but can't say that I agree with what was said above. If what you've typed is the real and complete story, you never said that you would buy it, you just asked questions about it. If you sent your PM and said "I'll take the seat, but can you let me know xyz" then I see your point. If you said "I'm interested, but would like to know xyz," well then, I don't see your point of view.

I didn't expect you to understand anything. My first reply was actually a monologue in disguise. I could have tried for days to explain things to you and my efforts would have been in vain. These are situations you deal with the way you've always dealt with. It's how things were presented to you in the very early stages of your life. That is the time when you were taught the do's, the don'ts, the moral aspect that should govern and define one's behaviour.
I just can't make you see how wrong your actions were in regards to this little thing called selling a used Corbin seat on the Yamaha Super Tenere Website.
And it has nothing to do with either me being overly sensitive or the internet.

It's really a sad case scenario when someone still carries the Old West pseudo philosophy in the year 2016.
I can see a shade of John Wayne in your answer and I'm sure some of his DNA as well, that made you answer that way.
