Hey guys, i'm looking for exactly that, a pair of seal socks to help preserve the fork seals. Are they pretty much universal or specific to the bike. Any recommendation and where i can get my hands on some.
Thanks.

I see on their site that they don't give fork tube sizing other then the product fits 85cc-450cc. Are i missing something or is there a part number for larger bikes?

Yes the description can be confusing. This product is geared towards dirt bikes so the description reflects that bias. 85-450 dirt bike fork tubes are similar to ours. 6 inch or 13 inch regular are the ones you want.
I have them and they are correct.

Shock Sox of me too, in the 6 inch version. When I just had the forks rebuilt at 43k miles, the specialist I took it to was expecting the worse for wear on the inside, since I still hadn't changed the fork oil yet. He was amazed at how good of condition the insides were. I have used the Shock Sox since the day I brought the bike home. SS says to take them off and wash them every time you wash the bike. They are well worth the investment.

After a trip to Prudehoe Bay both fork seals leaked bad all the way home so after going through all the trouble to replace the seals and bushings I started using Shock Sox, bought mine off eBay , haven’t had a leaky seal since but maybe it’s just been better luck. I have been removing them a couple times per year to wash them but really haven’t noticed them holding dirt.

Shock sox its what I have. I’m cleaning them after each dirty ride with a bio degreaser and let them dry. Before reinstalling I’m spray Lubricant on the inside surface ( one that are in contact with the fork) somerhing like fluidfilm/ wurth film/ M-55/ wd-40...the one you prefer! You can choose them in a variety of fancy colors to match you fancy ride!
