Sadly the only engine swap pictures I have are an LC8 motor swap into a CRF frame. This was at the Billings MT hillclimb championships.

I came from the fz1 to the s10 for added comfort... miss the power. This all stems from late night beerscussion with a fellow s10 owner who was in agreement with me. More Ferrari less tractor... good conversation though, I like the ridicule as well!
I had an FZ1 with 130 rwhp. The S10 has way more power below 5000 rpms, which makes it more fun on twisty mountain roads, at least for me. If you want to get the most out of your S10 motor, flash the ECU and change to Arrow's catless header. Aftermarket end can optional depending on your aural needs. My FJR-riding buddy was amazed at how much more power my bike had than his in the low to mid range.

To me the T12 is a parts bin bike. Nothing new, or high tech. The E-Suspension, and cruise from the FJR are the "highest tech" it has. But, that's also why the price is as low as it is. . . . compared to the competition. I also think that's why the OE boxes are like they are.
it absolutely is, but they're all really good parts! The few specific systems are unique to the S10 all really well done too, i suppose due to the cost savings of using existing engineering.

Nevermind....was going to recommend converting from shaft the belt or chain drive, but I think it would be too much headache...
