Greetings.

I have owned this tank bag for 5 years, and I am done using it. My issue with it is that it moves side to side, and this drives me crazy. It drove me crazy enough on my last 7,000 mile ride that I ordered a Wolfman Rainier while on the road.

The bag stays on the bike, has never marred the paint, and stayed dry (with the rain cover - included) though 1,000 miles of rain on the trip. Other than moving to/fro, it's a nice bag.

Everything is there, including a pad I made to protect the tank.

First come, first served. I figure that I can't charge someone for something that drives me crazy, so I will send it to you free of charge. I will even cover postage in the US.

If it works for you, then please pass something forward, buy extra girl scout cookies, etc. If it doesn't work for you, it might work for someone else.

Thanks.

p.s. super 10 was flawless in the 7k miles. didn't use a drop of oil. my daughter's ktm 790 duke was also flawless - other than burning through the stock tires in 2,500 miles. it used no oil, and the new michelin power pilot 2CT tires wore like iron, and were great in the rain.

For the new owner, go to Wal Mart and get a roll of the rubberized shelf paper, about $ 5 for a lifetime supply. Cut out a pattern to match the bottom of the tank bag, place it under the bag when you put the bag on your tank and it will not move and will protect the paint.

That's what I did, but i used tool-box liner or carpet/rug anti-slip material.

I am sending that cut out with the tank bag.

FWIW I've had that exact stuff destabilize in tool boxes and get all gunky. Be careful letting gasoline or anything come into contact with it.

Thanks for the heads up. I have been using this for years on several bikes and had no problems. Guess I don't get gas or anything besides polish on top of my tank. If I did, I would certainly clean it before placing this material and tank bag back on the bike.
