Does anyone know of a mfg that makes a fork brace for the super tenere? I had one on my Vstrom and it really made a big difference.

I agree, the brace was a great improvement on the Strom. The Strom has conventional forks and you can use a brace. The Tenere has upside-down forks. I don't think you can have a brace on them, at least I have never seen on for upside-down forks.

Hmmm, that's interesting, I never took notice. I don't see how it would impede it though.

The brace on conventional forks is at the top of the outer fork body and moves up and down with the wheel and fender.

On upside down forks the fork body is stationary and the fork tubes move up and down with the wheel and fender. If there was a brace spanning the fork body, it would be in the way of the wheel moving up and down between the fork body.

If the brace was high enough on the tubes, allowing for the fender / axle to move, we might have a winner.

I think the fender comes within an inch or so of the bottom triple-clamp when fully compressed. Not sure of the exact measurements though.

You do not need a fork brace when you have USD forks. The fork flex that occurs with conventional forks is nearly eliminated
