That's a really cool area to enjoy that ride of yours. I've been that way a couple of times and visited Estes Park, the Rocky Mountain National Park and Pikes Peak. I've also been to the Southwest corner to see Durango, Silverton and Mesa Verde. I'm hoping to make it there again and hang out for a week and take in the ride up Mount Evens and checkout some of those Ghost towns too. I really want to visit Mesa Verde again, I only scheduled one day for the late visit and that wasn't nearly enough. If anyone here hasn't been there you really should go and see it for yourself.

On your way to everywhere, , Iowa
We have camped at Columbine many times and used to ride up to the Glory Hole.
It's getting more restrictive in that area but fun.

Everywhere riding on small gravel roads is getting more restrictive.:(
IF you are so lycky to find one in Denmark, it is almost 100% sure it is privat or no car/motorcycle allowed.
Even on my last trip to Sweden, I found more af the "not allowed" roads...but my Garmin directet me that way.
So I therefore assume it have been allowed earlier.

Nice pictures:)

I can see Mount Evans from my back porch - love going up there and seeing the goats - see attached pics from 3 weeks ago.
Do give me a yell next time you're in the area, loads of good places to ride around here.

Somehow work was avoided yesterday and I got another 350 miles in - ready for the first service now. Took a southern trek along Tarryall Creek to Woodland Park, Deckers and Guanella Pass.

Guanella Pass was glorious - not another person on the road...

Tarryall Creek Road (aka Route 77) was likewise deserted. Dunno why I like this road so much - not all that curvy or technical, just smooth surface and empty. And a few fixer upper homes to check out...
