Finally had a nice day yesterday. First one of the year. Soared up to just under 50 °F. Took a ride to Carcross, Tagish, then back to Whitehorse. A nice 3 or so hour loop. Hope you don't mind a few pics. Oh right, maybe just one pic. I still don't know how to post more than one. R

Beautiful Rem thanks for sharing don't see much of this in Richmond, VA. I did take a drive out to the Blue Ridge Mountains a few weeks ago very nice scenery but no comparison to what you see.

That is some awesome scenery you have! We have been as far north as Bell II in BC. Maybe someday we will get your neck of the woods.

Yukon is a major flyway for waterfowl. The swans are here in great numbers. Here are the boys ..... well, some of them. R

Last one ... Emerald Lake. Probably the most photographed little lake in the Yukon, but somewhat frozen at the moment. R

Glad to hear it. Wait until you see it in the summer. I'll send another then .... it's quite beautiful. In fact, I may have one. I'll poke around and see if I can find it. R

Here you go, Eemsreno, hope this is the one you're referring to. It has some kind of weird blue-green algae in it that produces the nice colors. The lake is located just a few miles east of Carcross, Yukon. It shows up on a lot of tourism posters and such. Enjoy. R
