Hey guys,

So I took my first long roadtrip with my girlfriend on the S10. The goal was to find a place to go camping. We went all the way to Rainbow River, but the park was PACKED and we couldn't get in. So crazy thing, we tried going camping into the Ocala Forest and the road was full of sand. I thought "man, I can make it easy". I got stuck in deep sand and it took 45 minutes for a Jeep to come and help us get the bike out of it. It was scary :D. We ended up at Juniper Spring (but we had to pay to camp there). It was quite fun. A few things I have noticed:

- The bike is so easy to maneuver on the road. I still impressed how easy is to handle.
- Bike is heavy. Noticed this in the sand. I dropped the bike in the sand. It was the first time I did.
- The S10 is a TANK. Like seriously. A TANK. That thing can handle ANYTHING and keep trucking.
- I honestly does not like the way it sound and I find that the engine is kinda boring (I daily drive my Z900RS)
- I'm having really bad back pain when driving. Especially lower back pain and the helibar risers didn't help. I think I need to change the seat
- Cruise control works wonder!
- AGAIN THIS THING IS A TANK!!!!!!
- Really bothered me that there's not way to deactivate the ABS/TC

Yes the ST is a tank and with sand weight is your biggest enemy. Sand is best treated like you’re trying to float in water. Speed and being comfortable letting the bike go where it wants is key.
Funny you daily a ZRS. I sold mine to buy my ST. I put 13k trouble free miles in it and it was an excellent bike and I was sad to sell it. Not room for 2 bikes in the garage though and the st is the multitool.
