Not sure where else to put this, so I'm sticking it in general...

I'm a little short of stature and have a hell of a time pulling the kickstand when I'm in the seat. Has anyone fashioned an extension for the pull down on the kick stand? I can't come up w/a good way to do it...

I have no problem "finding" or "putting down" the side stand when in the seat.
So sorry, can't really help:eek:.
I just push it down with my front of my boot...

What year is your bike? It’s my understanding that the gen1 bikes had a steel stand with a “wire” loop welded on that was kinda flimsy and prone to break off.

Gen 2 bikes have an aluminum side stand.

The Gen I bikes, (2010-2013), have steel side stands that have a solid pin sticking out that can be used to put the side stand down. These get broken off pretty easily. A sidestand foot enlarger really helps give you something to catch with your boot to put the sidestand down. I highly recommend the AltRider one. I've used theirs on both my Gen I and Gen II. (different parts for the different stands, Gen I and II do not interchange.)

I have the side stand foot enlarger, which should be standard on these bikes. It makes it a lot easier finding the side stand with your foot to extend it also.
Yup, me too. I have a side stand foot enlarger that I bought on Ebay for $25.00 (Canada) including free shipping.
Easy to install, raises the length of the side stand just a little, but it is easier to find the side stand with your foot along with a greater surface area for stopping and resting the bike on say a soft gravel road.
