Beautiful.
Just curious. How tight is your speed enforcement in New Zealand?

Smaller penalties for murder....

We get demerits plus a fine for speeding. 100 demerits and you're walking. 40km/h over and you're walking - and by walking, vehicle left on the side of the road while you get a lift in cop car. Speed cameras and during holiday weekends and over the Xmas/New Year period automatic ticket if 4km/h over...

I didn't even give you a second glance unless you were at least 10mph over. Texas allows you to keep a speeding tickets off of your record as long as it's less than 25mph over posted. There are speedometers that have more than 4km/h error. ???

A number of the countries I have ridden in allow nothing above the speed limit. People just know and are used to being civil and following the law. (generally)

The US has more police per trip or mile than anywhere and everybody wants to know how much further they can cheat beyond what is posted. They then take no responsibility and complain that their circumstances are special when they get caught.

I was really hoping to ride down there in a few months, till one of my kids got married.
There's always next year or retirement.

Let me know if/when it happens.
