Ended up going with the 2018 Yamaha blue non-ES.
Love the blue, saved some $$$, and now I have more Farkle Funds.
I'll ride it home tomorrow
Thanks for all your comments.
I was in the same with you two days ago, lol. Was at the dealer wanting to look at a non-es 2018 they had on sale but wasn't there when I arrived. Left with a blue 2018 ES with a better deal than expected. Already purchased skid plate, crash bars, led lights and mounting hardware for my racks. and congrats!

Whoop whoop!!! Enjoy the ride. Pound out some miles and have fun. Engine will 'loosen up' the more miles you put on it. You'll know what some of us are talking about concerning that. It's not in your head because i had to ask and experience the same phenomenon. Use up the existing suspension unless it's completley useless for your needs but I will probably wager that won't be the case. Miles with smiles are in your future.

There is nothing wrong with the stock suspension. I would expect him to get along just fine without spending a dime in the suspension department.
Quite possible for sure! When I was shopping for mine I already budgeted in suspension upgrades. So far mine looks like it will make it to service time before needing respring and revalve.
