Years ago my mother had a Silverwing and rode all over the country with it. She loved it until she lowsided and lost part of her ankle and almost lost her leg. But she got another on, and never rode it. Sold it cheap. She's pushing 80 and rides one of those E-bikes around.

I have had a Honda X-ADV for a couple of years now to counter my Yamaha XT obsession.
Actually bought it to try out the DCT transmission. Great "bike", plenty fast (180km/h - 110 mph), very frugal and just plain fun to ride.
A joy during every ride is to see oncoming bikers start to wave before they realize it's a SCOOTER and then they look away in shame.
My girlfriend immediately sold her Kawasaki Versys after her first long trip on the X-ADV so basically now it's only mine on paper.
All good, she is now eagerly awaiting the next trip being a grocery run or a trip to the Alps.
