Hi,
wonder if there is any differences in forks travel/quality between those option?
Asking because still not sure which should I get. (Z or ZE)
Also any history or electronic suspension failure?

If you are in the UK look at the other spec differences between the two, centre stand, top box rack, heated grips, million handles, thicker million seat.

The only concerns people seem to have with the ZE are those riding off road. I went for a Z as there were in stock and there was a good wait for a ZE.

I have a 2015 bike with electronic sussies and really like it.

The only downside I can see is that after 35k miles I'd like to change the oil in the front forks. So far I've failed to find any advice on here (2 posts in the 'Technical Section') or the net on how to strip down electronically adjusted forks.....plenty of information on the 'ordinary' forks....although there is good advice in the 'Technical Section' on how to reset the electronic suspension.

yeah, that's another concern when say you are in remote country and forks oil start leaking or something like that and there is no simple way to fix it. Well, unless there is?

BTW is rear shock also electronic?

Yes the rear shock is electronic but it's a sealed unit.

Most manufactures recommend changing the front fork oil but surprisingly it's not mentioned in the maintenance schedule in the owners manual.

The rear has electronically adjusted damping and preload, whereas at the front, only damping is adjusted.

what about rebound? is it manually adjusted or it's not present?
So basically manual suspension in standard version has better/full regulation?

For $1000 CND difference in price I went for the electronic suspension model, which also included panniers and heated grips.

I’m glad I did. I couldn’t add those afterwards for the same price. Also, adjusting suspension on the fly to suit road conditions is great. Note - you can’t adjust rear preload while moving.

Yes, as I stated, damping is electronically adjusted at both ends, preload on the rear only.

Yes non-ES.
(thats why I wrote "manual ;))
But I know from my self, it is hard to explain something in writing, in the head of the writer, it seems clear. But sometimes it is not:(, sorry...
