I'm trying to install an EB PC-8 in my '16 S10 ES. I found a very old thread with un-viewable photos. From the text I gathered that there may be room for it behind the upper, right side body panel. Can anyone verify if that's true or not? And can anyone share an installation location that might be more convenient? Thanks!

I believe the upper right fairing works well with the Non-ES models.

I think under the seat is the desired location for the ES version.

Maybe Easter Beaver can help.

I see more internet searching in your future.

I installed a Neutrino Black Box power distribution module in a space just forward of the battery in my ES model. I think the NBB is similar in size to the PC-8 and that location is nice and close to the battery too. Ignore the red circled bit in this case. That was done to show where the turn signal connectors are.Harness.jpg

The spot in the upper panel works for Gen I non-ES bikes. I don't know about ES bikes, but it's only a few 4mm bolts to expose it and find out if there is space. If you're not keeping the factory took kit in it's cubby under the ride side quick detachable panel, that gives you plenty of space there for the PC-8. I put a Fuze box there on my non-ES Gen II. On the non-ES Gen I, I installed the PC-8 under the upper panel. In both cases, some Scotch Dual-Lock held them in place nicely.

Several people with ES bikes have reported that under the seat was the spot used for the PC-8. You may have to give up some space there.

Upper right fairing works fine on ES. Relocate on of the modules there and then you have to remove the plastic divider by scoring at the base and then snapping it off.

Thanks guys! This was EXACTLY the info I needed. I can't find any way to get it to fit under the seat and still allow the seat height to be adjusted. However, the other three suggestions will work just fine. I'm gonna put it either behind the upper right body panel or between the battery and tool kit.

Thanks Again,
Tim
