Getting ready to order the PC8 for the ST from Eastern Beaver for $105.oo or so. Later on I will be adding aux lights, (6" Baja's probably). Since I'm ordering the PC8 anyways, what else should I order at the same time to take care of adding the lights later on?? Or what plugs or connectors??

Thanks,

The PC8 uses screw terminals for the accessories, so there is no real need for any special connectors for the lights and such. For wiring the PC8 to the bike, EB offers Tenere specific harnesses, and you can't go wrong with those!

^+1!!

I am very electrically challenged and installing my eastern beaver and 6" rigid with three way switch was one of the more complicated installs, yet it went about the smoothest.

Unless you can easily access them in your neighbourhood I'd suggest ordering a handful of posi-taps form Eastern Beaver Jim at the same time:

Looking to order an eastern beaver PC8 fuse box. Wondering if I should buy the 30amp or 50amp kit? And how long of a wiring relay?

My experience with them was horrible. I would also never order their parts again. Very poor and slow customer service. Wouldn't exchange parts or even assist to get pass that were ordered .

The quality is fair but way over priced for what it is.

I will be removing my PC8 and replacing with home made simpler version in the near future.

BTW the jumper lead set up is near useless. Cheers

I put my Fuze Block under the seat in the end. I was hoping to put it near the battery but couldn’t fit it in anywhere. I’ve got a fuze block on my other bike and have always been impressed with it so it was an easy choice for me.

I put mine under the seat as I have little room under the RH cover because of an alarm system. It's held in place with a couple of pairs of 3M Klets.

Relay from a wrecked car and a terminal strip. Worked fine for a while...

...then went to a FuzeBlock.

I used this three fuse set-up from Eastern Beaver, shipping is a bit slow but wasn't bad for a Mom & Pop operation.
All I run on it is my GPS, Aux Running Lights and my Heated Grips. My heated coat and battery tender lead are direct to the battery.
My friend George had me hold to the KISS method, thanks my friend!
