We're getting a few more local members - good to see...

Thought I might post up to gauge interest in an overnighter somewhere north/northwest of Sydney around early December... probably a Saturday meal in a pub. Stay the night there or camp nearby.

If we get some interest going I'll post over on ADV as well.

OneOff, this little cartoon Ox is drawn with 20 waypoints called Oxley.

The Oxley you mention is at the tip of the tail.

But the "Oxley" that Karl is Yupping about the is THE OXLEY. The section of the Oxley Highway between Port Macquarie and Walcha - up at the tip of this cartoon Ox nose.

Hmmm...

Just looking at my calendar; I'm in Uralla with the V-Strom mob on 28th Nov ::020::, I thought it was a lot earlier than that, so probably not within two weeks either side would be reasonable for me.
How does the weekend 7th Nov sound to you lot? It might be getting a bit hot by December.
I'm open for suggestions for a venue, not my area so I don't know the good spots/pubs.

I did ride the Oxley this weekend tho, it is in wonderful shape, only say one more S10 down in Gloucester on Sunday.

I've booked a room, there's a spare bed in there. Camping by the river apparently. I normally take that option but $45 for a pub bed sounds pretty good.
