Hello from the Ozarks of Missouri
Ok thanks for that.
Depending upon what the future brings, I'm a itchin for a ride to the U.S. My sweet home Alabama has a place in my heart.
The Canadian company that I worked for has a factory in 'Bama and I spent a lot of time there. Great folks down there.
Hope to visit once again.

Greetings! I'm here for tips and tricks for adventure riding and tuning. Located in the PNW I commute daily and adventure on the weekends. Happy to be here
Welcome to the forum.

Ok, so what's up with the misinformation then? I grew up in P-town and know the PacNorWet well. It's not the hills of KY. Location provides context to your posts and helps others both understand your perspective better and offer better info to you should you have questions or issues. Like sharing a resource that is local to you, rather than one local to KY.

Unlike some forums, this one is really good at low BS and offering positive information. I'm not suggesting you need to put your exact location in your profile, but the correct state at minimum will be useful down the road. This forum generally does not subscribe to the foolishness of ADV and people don't hide behind their Avatars, just have a little fun with them. And sure, I get that Abe was born in KY, but he moved it IL when he was 17... ;)

Where you're from is less important that where you are. ;) Abe wasn't a Kentuckian, he was an American. And he ran for office as a Republican from Illinois.

The point is simple, grossly mis-representing your location to a completely different area or non-existent one doesn't help you any, just makes you look like a dork. Then you ask a question and someone says go here, except that you have to explain again and again that you're not there, you're somewhere else. Like the first post... All he had to do is put his actual location in the profile and he wouldn't have had to mention he's not actually there, but somewhere else.

This is why I'm not a Mod. :p It's one thing to put your location as a major city more or less nearby. It's completely useless to put your location across the country from where you are, in a different time zone.
