Hello,

This is a total LONG SHOT but I'm willing to try. This dog was running around our neighborhood about two weeks ago. We are dog lovers so we fed the dog and won over its trust. We have tried everything we know to do to try and find the owners. We have had constant contact with our local dog (no kill) shelter, but they are full. We are still in contact with them. We cant keep this dog at this time and need to find a foster home or a loving permanent home.
He looks to be about 6-8 months old, very good health, good teeth. He has been trained to sit and "NO". He is also crate trained and has had no accidents other than out in the yard. He has been 'trained' and looks to have been treated well. He is well behaved and a good boy.
We to find him a home and its been difficult.

If anyone might be able to foster or find him a new home will you contact me. I WONT surrender him to just anyone that might use the dog in bad ways.

PLEASE reach out to anyone that might provide this boy a loving home. We are in Dallas / Ft Worth area.

Thank you

I really like that you are take of the dog.
Hope you find the owner soon, or someone that can take over from you.

Good on you for trying to find him a home. I see there are several Pit Bull rescue groups in your area. Maybe one of them could help you out or point you to someone who can.

I tossed it out on the LDRider list. There is a good community in the Dallas/Ft Worth area. Perhaps one is looking for a new friend.

Thank you.... Yes, we have reached out to about 10-15 other organizations... MOST of them will put the dog down for "there" own reasons... We will only consider a (no kill) organization....

Appreciate your post. Thank you

good looking dog , maybe he could be a shop dog , do security for you . some people are afraid of that type of dog , some are not but like them for nefarious reasons , and if you are lucky (maybe its the dog that needs to be lucky ) some one likes that type of dog and will treat it as a loving companion.... my wife is always worried I might bring a stray home , dogs are cool, its some of the owners who suck. you have a good heart Tabasco.
