It's not something i would use, looks like breaking easily. And we all wear off-road kind boots i think, so for protection not much extra.
Looks a bit odd also..

Would you buy 'm rob?

I'm completely in goretex too. Boots, gloves, trousers and jacket.
It's perfect, several times in pooring rain but absolutely dry.
Only looking for a good collar, tried one from HELD wich was dry but not comfortable.

Any suggestions?

So seeing that I live in las vegas I had to Google this weather phenomenon you guys are talking about, rain. Pretty cool concept, water comes out of the sky instead of from a fiji bottle.

J/k it rains here too, like, 10 days a year. I've seen it once or twice

All depends on how big your neck is really. The Buff Polar one is good very warm but not waterproof but there is not much exposed so they get damp more than soaked. Also Halversons do a great one which is not tight around your face. EDZ winter one is warm and roomy i just cut the elastic of both end to make it very comphy. All of these are great quality. If its raining i use the Halversons.

I've got some leg protectors on my bike. Not sure if it's the ammount of hours I do on the bike or I'm just very unlucky but I've never had anything waterproof (hence my leg protectors). Even my Daytona boots leaked after a few months of ownership. They're ok for about 1.5 hrs in torrential rain but thereafter they leak. I often do 2.5 hr commutes so my gear gets tested pretty well and it's always pissing down here
