I'm pretty sure it won't work w/oem bars... the oem bars look like they hug the side fairing where the openings are too closely.

You could probably do a little grinding to make it fit but I think you'd have to grind at least 50% of the bar in that area and would make the mount too weak...

Maybe twisted throttle could come out with one that would fit... but not sure they've sold that many of these yet.

Can't you still use the lights by mounting on the factory bar up close to where these mounts would have the lights? You may have to use something like the PIAA light mounts that are made to fit the factory bars.

Just a thought................

I've debated various bar mount solutions; most clamp on and don't seem particularly robust to me. And so I keep searching. :)

Trying to resurrect this thread a bit!

Does anyone know how much room there is on each side? I am trying to add some lights that have a 4.75 inch diameter. Would these fit? or would I need to modify them.

Thanks!

eBay light bar and legit Duallys
What search criteria did you use on Ebay? I get the PIAA brackets, can't get your style to show.

I would say no. The dualys are 3.5 inches across and there's about a .5 inch clearance on the left/radiator side and .75 inch clearance on the right side. You might be able to simply add an extension flat bar to get them out a little further or have a welder add some length to the bar but I think I'd stick with lower profile lights as you don't want to end up breaking the headlight structure trying to do too much with the bar.

What bracket did Camtex use to mount his outer pair of PIAA's? Maybe those lights are smaller than I think.

I didn't use the official Denali mount as they weren't available at the time I was installing these. I don't remember the brand of the mount but I bought them at Dual Sport Plus in Brantford. I like the position of them. They are kept out of harms way in case of the bike falling over (tested and passed!) and they are very sturdy. I thought I would show you my mounting in case you were looking for options.

Hey, if these are the 4" ones, they are really awesome. I plan to mount them on my bike. Has anyone heard about mounting them on the forks instead of the bike's body for better direction control?

I know Clearwater lights offers a bracket for mounting lights at the fender mount bolts. I got a set of brackets from Jaxon (Tabasco) and mounted mine up on the handlebars.

Gotta remember the forks are vibrating up and down thousands of times per mile, the bigger heavier lights will beat themselves and their mounts to death in short order.

So does this Denali Mount work on the Gen 2 Ténérés? The "instructions" say from '11 - '14, but ZevRilla says '11 - '16. Would I just need to modify the trim cover on mine? Or just leave it off? Hmmmm.

Well, mine is a 2014 which is a Gen 2 so both are right.. lol

I didn't mount the trim cover as I added the 6" light bar there but I don't think you have to do anything to them...

I've had the Denali Lights for about a year. The mounts from Twisted Throttle worked great. At first, the only thing I had a problem with was the alignment. But once I zero'd in on the position, they were excellent. I have the option to operate with the switch or I can go through the high beams. Let there be light!

Sixteen I see your dilemma. The installation instructions clearly show a different bolt pattern than my '17. I have a question into Denali. We'll see if the respond.
