Sucker finally came in yesterday and getting to play with it today, it absolutely will not click in.

With stock height bracket in low position it will latch in for high seat height.

Move stock height bracket in high position it will not click at all.

Got it figured out. Front seat was hitting on front edge of rear seat. Had to put bike on side stand with wife holding bike steady and push front seat back with my weight as much as I could with my foot on the wall then down to catch latch.

It’s been quite a few years but I believe I had to use a washer between the bracket and the seat pan to make mine fit correctly.

I’ve had similar problems with my Bill Mayer saddle and it’s built on the stock seat pan. I think the extra padding makes it necessary to push the rider seat back against the passenger seat to compress the foam a bit to align everything.

Revisited this today in 100+ heat after taking the seats off to wire in some extra rear signals from my top box.

I found that the latch you transfer over form your stock pan is to far forward. The bolt location in corbins pan is to far forward. I drilled out my latch bracket to a couple sizes bigger lettign the latch slide back 1/8"'ish and clicks on in a lot easier now. Still have to press back on the seat but nowhere to the extent it required earlier.

For those that went to a corbin seat, how do you like it verses stock. I'm not a big fan of the stock seat even after the tilt mods. FYI Im about 5'10" WITH 32 inch inseam. The stock seat seems to put a lot of pressure on the under side of my thighs where they contact the side of the seat.

The Corbin is my back-uo right now. I'm favoring the stock seat with a BeadRider cover and the flat seat mod. That said, I like the firmness of the Corbin in general - it seems to retain it's cushion better than the stock seat on long days. I used the BeadRider with the Corbin, too. I think there is some minor benefit on the thighs with the Corbin. You cannot do the flat seat mod, but it's a generally flatter seat. But not as flat as the stock seat with the flat seat mod. Our inseams are about the same.

In regards to fitment (the original post), the Corbin was tricky at first. Getting the latch transferred over was a bit fussy and the way the tongue goes into the groove on the back isn't quite as clean as the stock seat. But you get it sorted over time and break-in helps. I like it and may go back to it once the weather gets colder.

ive had a Corbin on my 12 and then moved it to my 19 model , I like it . been to Moab and back Colorado and back and all over Texas . it suits my tin foil butt just fine. 12 hour days on these trips any seat will wear thin , but you can on the Corbin or at least I can with out the debilitating pain of some seats. the stock seat would have me crying in an hour.

Sorry for late response.
I'm only at 8k miles so no long term thoughts, but corbin vs stock is night and day difference. Stock seat I would get restless after 45-60 minutes. I'm at 5'11" 230'ish lbs, 31.5ish" inseam, and have it in the high position. Can't flat foot it, but I can reach bottom. Make 2-3 hour runs goofing off weekly just fine, Got pretty big thighs and have no issues with rubbing. I went with the asphalt vinyl for "grip" and it was a little warm in the heat, but so would be the stocker. I am also running with helibars.
