Unless you have a son that is a professional body man........ 8)

It only cost me $100 for the paint to have the shrouds and side panels done on my KLR..
Nice job!! You can't beat that deal.

Fun 'color-option' video, ErnsTT. I let it load then slowly walked through the colors a couple times, pausing it one each to give my eyesballs a bit more time to steep in each color. Surprisingly, I really liked the olive green and dark green on the ST. The desert sand color, too. I thought the bike a bit flashier than that and thought I'd like the currently available and/or flashy colors on it more, but for some reason, those above mentioned colors sure caught my eye. Maybe a bit of that is the "Look. Something different" reaction. I'm sure I'll be satisfied with my blue for a good while, but nice to know there are some other great looking options out there (between color changes and/or decal changes).

I think the best feature on the prototype bikes in the videos is that prototype side panel withthe "reverse scoop". Much more Dakar than the final production version. On the whole I like the prototype much more than the final version

That 660 does look cool, and I might find room for one in my garage right next to my 1200, if they ever offer it here in the U.S. If they offered them both in the U.S. now, I'd have a very hard time choosing.

It is a complementary color to the use of the bike, although their function is horrible,i always have softspot for military sidecars of WWII Zündapp and the first XT550 (lousy bike) was brought out in Olivedrab, so it would be a wise choise of Yamha to make it real, because lots of people haee an unconscious romantic mind, as can be seen at the succes of the Fiat 500 and Mini

it was my inspiration to take those drab colours to, next to the luxury and 70's guises, tried to find a drab 550, but they seem to be painted over all too
