Hmmmm....I'd say, maximum 2 months.
Gas goes stale and gummy after a while.

I am not sure I would put "freash" (whatever that is) in a gas bottle.

;)

But then, why not pour the gas from the bottle every couple of tanks when you fill up?

Change it out the beginning of each riding season. Fuel is much more stable than people give it credit for. Plus you're keeping it well mixed anyway.

If I was ever gonna travel to far off places, and I was going to leave it in a container, I would use a stabilizer. But, I'm in the Mr. Hughes' camp. . . . I'd only fill/carry for a trip. Then dump it in the tank when I got home. . . . if I didn't use it on the trip.

Hé Rob, when it’s plain fuel I’d recommend a maximum of 2/3 months. Or else use a stabilizer, but at least a non-ethanol fuel!

Gas expands about 2% when temperature rises 20 degrees. So with a 50 liter tank that translates to about 1 liter of volume extra.

nominal shelf life for octane stability is 60 days. What i do is top off my bike with the jerry can and use it up and leave it empty until i need it for a ride, gas is too expensive for it to just sit unused :)
