Found a deal from a UK dealer, but it has European maps preloaded. I'm in the US, should I walk away, or can I work around this without enrolling in GPS University?
Thanks.
Jack
Hey Jack,
If you're in the US then you need the North American (includes Canada) data base.
Unless you are planning a trip to drive or ride in the United kingdom you don't want a GPS purchased from the U.K.
I'M in Costa Rica at this moment on vacation (no, not riding, I wish) and I'm kicking myself for not contacting Garmin and purchasing a data base for central America for our rental car.
I just use my car Garmin GPS on my motorcycle and when it rains, I stop and put a bag over its head.
