upgraded my 2012 to a 2019 ES, it came with black side cases, rode bike home and took them off.
New side panniers are $1700 Canadian
Sell for $1100 canadian or $800 USD without locks, I'll box them up you pay for shipping

I'm in the same boat.
Just wished Yamaha had made the panniers optional. I don't like them either and took them off when I got the bike home.
They are in boxes sitting in my basement.
I'm sure I am not alone with these plastic boxes. I'm running some Kappa soft bags.

lol, thanks for the sales promotional help. Of course, all in good fun. Anyway the OEM's are decent panniers but when you have had mica tecs on a 12 since new, hard to go backwards.
