Did a fairly rough ride this weekend about halfway through the ride I get the following behavior. All of a sudden the brake lever went to the bar. 2nd pull it starts to come back right at the end of lever travel, 3 rd pull its perfect. Roll an another 10 feet and its back to the bar and 2 pulls its back. Maintained this behavior for the next 200 miles.

Got back home alive:cool: . Flush front brakes with new fluid. Cycled the ABS. Still got the same behavior. Pump the brake 3 times to get it perfect, drop it off the stand roll 10 feet and brake goes to bar. Does not matter what direction you roll it either. ABS light functions normally. Bike is installed with ABS on/off toggle switch and I get the same behavior whether ABS is on or off.

Need new pads? They are certainly not worn out.

Any insight is greatly appreciated

Sounds like we are on to something. When I rotate front wheel in the air it drags on the brakes in certain spots. Need a dial indicator now.

I would like to thankatize ;) you guys for the quick diagnose. I checked it by C clamping a ruler to a bike pump and the run-out was visually obvious with the crude indicator. I just installed the new rotor and she be fixed. LD (Coyote, Denver) got the rotor in respectable time and I was thankful for that, $160. Got automated text as soon as it was scanned in a Coyote. Tooling up for a test ride today. Image(2).jpeg
