yikes ! so your saying these things are known to start fires when not even plugged into anything ?
Like any Lithium ion, if damaged they will burn long and hard. Same reason you don't want a significant crash in a Tesla.

My battery pack has a rubber padded case, which I store in another pouch, under my (high mounted) seat where it fits perfectly. I feel pretty safe with it there.

Absolutely.
Easy to find videos with a Google search.

A simple padded envelope is all you need for the vibration issue.

I don't have one but will probably get one for trips/camping. Having a powerful unit for charging phones, the bike, etc. is something I'd like to have. /one of those things you might not need, but when you do........

I don't leave home without it. I've had it save me a long walk more than once in my truck and on my bikes.

What the sizing of that power pak or make and model? I like the idea of under the seat storage. My seat is also in the high setting, just need to find a pak now.
