I have a pair of Gears glove covers. Once you learn how to put them on, they will keep your hands and gloves dry.Wear a cover over the glove.
I have a friend who rides an Africa Twin. He has muffs on his handlebars, they look ridiculous, but who cares, cold hands are not funny. My Tenere has heated grips and I wear a thick lined riding glove.i would consider if you have heated grips get a good set of muffs that you can see the switches keeps your hands dry and warm

exactlyI just got the Hippo Hands Alcan muffs, and I am able to wear summer gloves with my heated grips.

Thinking about getting a heated vest. One that plugs into the battery tender plug. Like to hear from those with heated vests, opinions, reviews etc., would be appreciated.

I was a full time commuter for about 5 years, both in Las Vegas and Phoenix. And while it does get hot in the summer, most people don't know it does get cold in the winter (winter 2008 we got a significant blanket of snow in Las Vegas, and winter temps regularly drop below freezing overnight in both cities). I went with a full Warm and Safe heated jacket, along with heated glove liners, and it was the best thing for those cold morning rides to the office. I would recommend the jacket over the vest, especially since the wind protection is narrower on the ST as opposed to other fully feared bikes.I have a friend who rides an Africa Twin. Thanks for your input regarding heated gear, jacket vs. vest. I do have a good heavy riding jacket, so I think a heated vest will do it for me.I was a full time commuter for about 5 years, both in Las Vegas and Phoenix. Interesting but ugly?Enduro ¾ Grip Mitt
Get OBR Grip Mitts for warm and dry hands! Our ¾ open design terminates right at the wrist, but still offers full coverage of the hand while blocking the swirling air flow that freezes finger tips ... without impeding access to important controls!obradvgear.com
I sewed heated seat pads onto the removable liner in the jacket. Hooked it up to a Gears temperature controller and it works greatI have a friend who rides an Africa Twin.
