Put some stock type Bridgestone ( 501 &502 ) s back on the S10 today, Had Conti Trail Attack 2 and got 8000 out of them. They stuck to the road good rain or shine but no better off road then the Bridgestone . They chopped a bit on front and flattened out quicker in the center on the rear. It doesn't help on these flat Florida roads !!! The Bridgstones seem to hold up a bit better and I don't do much off road until I get to the Cabin in Georgia . This is the first time I had to put wheel weight's on the front even after rotating the tire 180 but it sure steer's and rides better , its amazing what new rubber will do !!

So, I'm confused....are the BattleWings discontinued or not? I've read that they are, and I've been TOLD that they are, but the '19 Tenere shows them as OE; and apparently Jeff can find them.

You can still get the Battle Wings , I got the front at Revzilla and the rear at Dennis Kirk . Ill try the 41s next time ...

Do I understand that the BWs ARE getting more difficult to locate/buy? That's how I ended up with the A41s; they have been working fine so far.

American Motorcycle Tire still has the BW501 and BW502, and they are cheap, $235.00 will buy both front and rear shipped to your door. Also can get at Revzilla, but $410.00 there. I see too much of the supply/demand type greed there at Revzilla, and this is a prime example. They think the tires are hard to find, hence hike the price. They were a good tire for me, but I like the E07 Mitas better.

Hi there Jeff, help me understand. Both the Bridgestone and Conti tires you mention are street tires. Are the Bridgestone's you describe are what came stock on my bike from the factory? I actually like them and they offer great grip on the pavement. I would not trust them at all in an off road situation though.....

Both set of tires were like 80/20 and did ok off road , except in the mud .The Bridgestone is what came on the S10 but after wearing them out I tried the Conti ,both were great on pavement but the Bridgestone wore better and i got a lot more mileages so back to them..I ride hard and they hold and ware good, Perhaps I'll try something new next as I read all the tire info here , we all want the impossible , good grip, good mileage Ok off road and even wear .
