Hello,

I have not posted in ages, but those who remember me will know I am suffering a progressive health issue that has made the left side of my body increasingly weak. To keep riding my Super10, I have installed a sidecar (holds the bike up at stops!), a Klicktronic shifter (because my foot won't move the shifter) and finally an EFM Auto Clutch (because my left hand is increasingly weak). (Please don't talk to me of grip strength trainers; it isn't helpful and just makes me sad. When I got the bike in 2011 I had no porblems with clutch pull.)

The combination of the EFM Auto Clutch and the Klicktonic is great at parking lot speeds, and the upshifting is like butter. Really great. The thing that is terrible is the downshifting. Terrible. Can't stand it. So we are converting it back to a normal clutch and I am looking for my next solution, because I am still not quitting.

Which means we need to replace the parts that were modified for the EFM. And one of them is backordered. It is the clutch boss, part number 23P-16371-00-00 . It seems to be one of those backorders that drags on for ages; who knows when I will get it, if I ever will?

So I am posting to see if anyone is breaking a Super10? Or if anyone knows of an aftermarket equivalent? Or any other ideas for finding an equivalent part? I found some other Yamaha clutch bosses on ebay but none from a Super10 and I don't know which other bikes share this part.

Thanks!

This one appears to be S10 specific on ebay.
ronayers.com also has ability to show "where used", meaning list all models that use this part. It appears only the S10 uses that clutch boss.

Thanks AdvToorer. I just bookmarked that. But I am going to keep watching this thread in case someone finds one that is already on this side of the pond. :)

I'll try to post another thread with pics of the sidecar, later. I have a photobucket album with pics but they've changed their sites rules and no one else can see them lately.
