Typically tanks do not come with mounting straps. Inquire with the seller before you purchase the tank.
Just use soft straps. Quick and easy removal. As far as fittings I just got hydraulic grade with a ball valve that I can reach back and open while riding. These tanks are very simple to plumb into.

Soft straps are fine if you are only doing it for one ride. If it's a semi-permanent install, stick with metal straps. For rally use, metal straps and proper vent/overflow lines will be a more optimal set up.

I did quite a few rides with soft strap setup. I like simple.

I'm hoping to buy a couple of the new CT-125 Postie bikes when/if Honda brings them to the US. Already put an order in at my local dealer.
Why wait? the CT110's are a dime a dozen here in the states.

You have cheaper dimes than I do! I've seen them going for over $2k in decent shape. Besides, I will enjoy EFI, ABS front brakes, disk brakes on both ends and all LED lighting along with the larger displacement engine on the 2020 versions. If I'm going to be running around with the wife, that's two bikes to take care of and the less fuss the better.

I hear you Eric, I do have to say these modern retro bikes are really sweet. Nothing like having modern brakes/suspension and EFI!!

Nice clean looking install. Good job working through the process and getting it done your way at a very reasonable cost.

I have to ask though... why is your tank bag mounted upside down?

Looks good Craig. Did you run an in line fuel filter? Kind of strange you used aircraft fittings but decided to use slip on rubber fuel line and zip ties. For my setup I used steel braided lines with teflon inner line and screw on style fittings.

Make sure you do a few trial runs to get most of the foam that breaks down through the filters. I clogged my first filter in just 200 miles with that tank. If I were to do it again I would remove all the foam.

I see why you have your tankbag that way. It makes for easy access while staying planted in the saddle. I imagine you will have a water bladder in there.

Haha I like it like that. I know it looks funny but who cares it's my bike. Haha
I also run a camel back bladder on it on my IBA rides
There is no wrong way, just what works for you. I stick stuff in my map pocket, so would have a harder time reading those things with it your way. But I had to ask. :p
