Greetings, I know this has been asked and answered. However I am in need of some assistance in wiring up a set of aux lights. I am able to get to the battery, and to the aux plug. I am kinda lost from there and want to make this project last.

Besides the dealers that want $200, because the got to get to the battery and remove the panel? I would like to know if anyone knows anyone else besides the dealers who install lights and such..

This does not seem like a two hundred dollar project.

any help or ideas would be great.

The wiring diagram was posted by somebody else but applies for an aux light tied into the high beam, which is what I did. The relay (pins 30, 85, 86, 87) is a common automotive relay and they are about $10 or less in most car parts stores. The trigger wire going to relay pin 86 is the only one which ties into the original harness for the bike and connects to the OEM high beam wire. This circuit puts very little load on that wire, since the big amps connect to pins 30 & 87.
