Can't shoot 'em inside city limits, pellet, rimfire or centerfire... buy or rent some live animal traps, catch a few every weekend, take 'em outside the city limit, then shoot 'em. Poison bait is just too indiscriminate. Squeamish, take the trapped animals to animal control... the animal control that won't come out to help.

I'm fixing to get me a deadly pellet gun and start the extermination. Been trapping for a few years and its getting worse. The cats learn to avoid my 5 traps. When my neighbor catches me and finally calls the heat. I will deny the shit out of it. When they come to his house to get a deposition from him they will see what is going on over there. I told the lady with the ASPCA here about it. I could tell she was a nut job when she told me to catch them and have them fixed. She also said I was just spreading the problem. I told her I was sharing with the community :D.

Checkswrecks, needless to say you have been inconvenience by this barking dog. I would return the favor. Lace some food with laxatives. Obviously this owner is lazy and inconsiderate. If he has to work and clean up dog shit a few times, bet he would get rid of the dog for you.
Best plan yet!!! It won't hurt the dog and maybe it will crap all over the house. I would mix it with raw meat. If a dog eats enough raw meat, it's crap smells like something crawled up it's ass and died and is runny as hell.

LOL, you read 'Air Rifle' and you think quiet. Not. I've got my 10/22 Ruger set up and running subsonic rimfire and it's pretty dang quiet.

What about a tall vinyl fence? New impossible for cats to climb but they still keep the mice and snakes away. Or an electric fence netting, low voltage, they'll learn fast to skirt your property. It will work for other critters too such as prowlers and thieves. Solar powered.

F'n cats. We're dealing with three or four at the moment that are "housed" down the road. Trapping was a bust. I work for the local municipality and spoke with two of our more seasoned animal control officers. They were not very encouraging, as in cats are smart.

I wonder if the local news crew would be interested in getting some answers from the local mayor?

air rifles are not firearms , so you can not be charged for the discharge of a fire arm . as for loud , some are louder than others , but I have a idea. shoot from inside the house , makes a great suppressor . open a window or door ,make sure the muzzle is inside and plink away. do a test , have some one you trust stand outside as you practice , then you will know. wimberly texas has a neuter and release policy, cats everywhere , not many songbirds. its a weird world out there where animals are more protected than ____________ . don't get caught.

My ex used to put a lot of work into her vegetable garden and even after trying all the tricks the bunnies were a huge problem. There were woods behind the house so no problem with ricochets or people, but street was close to the front, neighbors on either side, and discharging firearms was hugely illegal.

I shot them from inside the basement with subsonic .22 rounds on a scoped rifle. Opened the basement slider door about 2 inches and stood back near the far wall. Once went out the front door while my son shot one and I never heard it.

I use to live in Baltimore City in Federal Hill by the stadium. Parking is at a premium especially on game day. Home owners are given parking stickers and a guest pass. Everyone else is ticketed some towed. This is how I got into motorcycles. During a game you were land locked. You leave no parking. Besides it was gridlock. I got a Yamaha Vino Scooter. Worked great.

I use to save a spot for my wife with my Harley. Then park the car and Bike in the same spot. I also had a company demo. My neighbor took a dim view of this. Called the cops. The cops said I was a brilliant Idea, legal and I must love my wife what was his problem. The next day I had a 6 inch spike nail driven into my rear tire of my bike. So I purchased some fresh shrimp from the inner Harbor. Had a fine meal. Saved 3 or 4 of them uncooked. This guy drove a beater Ford Ranger. Opened the door and smeared raw shrimp in the rails of his manual bench seat. I would sit on my front porch drinking beer on counless days watching him trying to clean out that smell. Gave me emense satisfaction.
Laxatives. hmmm - I like the way you think.

My daughter is in Fed Hill on Poultney Street. She's got a parking permit for the Bank of America lot across the street, which is behind the bars. There's a camera on the lot and the tow company charges $325 per car so they hit fast to grab the cars parked without a permit. So many people have an alarm on their phone that the drivers will come running from one of the local bars as the wheels leave the ground and the entertainment begins.

They throw a projectile. Most municipalities don't permit them, they're categorized as firearms because of the projectile. Check your local laws. After paying for a $200 tax stamp you can own a suppressor. Not silent, but comes pretty close on some .22's. Still, it's discharging a firearm within city limits. Gotta be sneaky. Like the basement sneak. Set up a bench, cooler full of beverage, game on the TV, entertainment for the whole weekend.

You can shoot a pellet gun in town here. If you get caught. After you get back from the police station. You can do it again.
