I think I've put a blue seas fuse block on pretty much every bike I've ever owned. Not really sure if I need to on my 2015ES that I just picked up though and also if I did decide to put one in I have no clue where it would fit. I've searched in the forum here a bit and it seems as though some of you have been able to install an Aux fuse block in the non ES bikes but don't think I've come across one on the ES Tenere. Just not sure where you'd put put it. Also I came across quite a few posts but the photos are no longer working in the threads. I'd love to see which fuse block people are installing in the ES and where you are mounting them. Like I said I've pretty much always used Blue Seas but I think they are to big. I've seen a few PC8 installs but not sure how they compare size wise? I went to the Estern Beaver website and someone said they have Tenere Specific wiring harness but I'd assume that length would have to be to install the PC8 in a specific location which might not work with the ES since it seems to have additional wires etc.

So when ordering a PC8 do you buy the 30amp or 50 amp system and what length wire harness would you do?

Items I'd install on my Ténéré through a fuse block

Electrified Tank bag with USB outlets for charging Phone etc
Cigarette style outlet for charging camera, GoPro etc
Outlet for Heated Gear etc
Outlet for GPS
Outlet for Radar

My only other option if I can't figure out where to put a fuse block is to go straight to the battery which I don't really want to do.

If anyone has ideas and especially pics please post them up. I'm sure it would help more than just me.

I just came across this. Seems like it could be a good idea. Fused at 20amp. Anyone seen or tried one of these?

I put a Neutrino Black Box in place of the tool kit. Way $$$, but pretty sweet.
I'm using the NBB on my ES too, but I found room just forward of the battery before you get to where the tool kit is. There's a flat space there where I placed it using some heavy-duty Scotch-Lok Velcro. It's really compact and the rating and behavior of each circuit can be customized via bluetooth and a smart phone app.

Saw this to late. I already ordered the 30amp PC8. Was thinking I didn't need the 50amp version. Also I ordered 30" leads and am thinking I'll put it under the right side fairing where the tool kit was on Velcro and I can pull it in and out to add circuits to it. Should be pretty easy that way.

Thanks for the help. Planning on taking pics and documenting my install and posting it for other to see and give an option of a mounting location.

I don't really care for the under seat install because all my electrical outlets will be up bu the dash and that's a lot of wires to have to pull all the way back there.

The PC8 is good stuff too. There are just so many good products around any more that WE are the winners.

To me it sounds like you have made some very good choices !

Rowe Electronics PDM60 is the way to go. Look it up...then never look back!
Rowe looks like the caddy of power distribution blocks. I like that you don't need additional relays that make the wiring look cobbled. Expensive though.

The Rowe Electonics unit is really nice, but $200 for a power distribution block is more than I'd pay, regardless of quality. I would consider a Fuzeblock for my next bike, since it appears to be even a bit smaller than the PC8 I currently have.

I don't think the Eastern Beaver PC8 will fit under the seat of the ES model, but I attached a couple photos so you can see how big it is. It sits on a homemade aluminum shelf that bolts to an already existing hold on the side of the tray, so I didn't have to drill any new holes in the plastic.

I really like this unit, so much so that I removed it from the last bike it was on (a V-Strom) and transferred it to the S10. The relay for the unit is under the right side cowl. It's a very nice plug and play arrangement, though I did solder some extra wire to the relay harness because of the way I wanted to route the wiring.

I like the EB 3CS. Use one in all my bikes. 3 circuits is enough for me:

1 - tank bag: powers everything up top (GPS, radar, phone charger, heated gear)
2 - aux lights
3 - Tender/Jump (always on)

What are ya'll running that you want more circuits than that?

Below the battery housing is a available, white in colour, m 90 plug (triangle shaped), you need to purchase the female half of the plug. Wire the "fuse box" here for power and there should be enough space to mount it as well. This M90 plug was left "available" to mount aux parts

The plug is very near the tool kit, if you find the opening where the tool kit is stored, look down near the bottom and you will see a load of wires and the plug is usually tucked in with those wires.
