I can recommend dealing with Alford Bros in the UK. I bought my tank-pad from them back in September right after seeing it on Wasp's bike. They shipped right away and I received it in about 8 days....now I just need the bike to put it on!

Has anyone on our side of the pond ordered one of these yet and worked out what the final cost is (in US funds) for the pad and shipping?

Thanks!!! Looks like just under $42, including shipping. Credit card charges for foreign purchase would be in addition.
Very close. I got mine in November and it was $41.20. I used paypal and that was the total.

Probably due to exchange rates at the time. How does yours look?

Do you think this performs like a true tank pad it seems more of a decoration, I would prefer something that protects the tank from the sides and back where our legs will be hitting it while riding. It does look cool I just thought there would be more protection all around.

For the sides, I'm guessing either 3M protective film or the TechSpec pads for mine.

You are correct, Rod. The tank pad is only to protect the back of the tank, where clothing, etc will rub against the tank. Devin's kit, I am sure will be made to protect the sides, where I normally use 3M.

It looks good laying here in my Yamaha Super Tenere brochure, but I am betting it will look better on my bike.
