Yes, I fitted them last year, my other half says they make a lot of difference.

Those that have them, question; is there a possiblity to use the upside down? I may look at a set if that is possible so that I can take my daughter out on the back, I said that I would take her out when her feet could reach the pegs............. That may not happen before she finds an interest in the opposite sex and then it will never happen. I am hoping bikes give her another interest o_O

Note, the pegs that come with the set are the sports bike type. I ordered these separately.

You can see the castle adjustment.

If you rotate it to 12 o'clock the only problem I can see is you may not be able to fold them up. But they are easy to adjust with a hex wrench.

Thanks Grumpy, just what I needed to know, they don't have to be 180° but just enough for her feet to reach flat and in the arch. She is almost there now, but she is little for her age.

I’ve had them (MFW lowering pegs) on the last two STs and my other half says they’re great, even with the sport pegs. A bit of loctite is a good idea on the peg fixing bolt... They fold up just like the oem pegs, at least on the lowest position.

I bought a set of lowering arms from Bruudt and kept the stock pillion pegs. https://www.bruudtcnc.de/shop/product_info.php?language=en&info=p277_passenger-foot-peg-lowering-bracket-set-for-yamaha-xt1200z-supertenere-2010-----2013.html

The brackets move the passenger pegs 3 inches down, maybe 1 inch forward and out.

I can touch the bracket with my heel if I move my foot far enough back, but for the most part I don’t know they are there.
Thank you for the heads up on these expensive but just what the doctor ordered , just ordered mine from germany to uk ready for the bavaria trip again this summer
