Water resistant will let water come through. Make sure it is water proof if you're going to use it outside.

Any parts seller should have Nelson Rigg on the shelf in some form, even dealerships. My Nelson Rigg is a full-to-the-ground drape, XL is on the tag. It was used on my bagger cruiser, must be ten years old, fits my bagger adventure perfect. Packs into the lid of my Jesse pannier. Will work as an emergency shelter. Does the half cover work over the wind screen fine? Been thinking a half cover would be easier to manage... ::008:: link.

The Nelson Rigg is a good lightweight cover that works well for packing/touring. However, if you use the cover for full time use as your bike is always outside then I would look into a heavier more sturdy cover. Just my 2-cents. -JEP-

I probably agree with RIDEMYST on how durable the Nelson-Rigg cover may be with daily use if you abuse it. But there's a big trade-off between packed size/weight and the amount of cover (full or half) + durability. I went with the half cover because it packs much smaller and covers everything I care about. And if you take an extra minute to be careful putting the cover on and taking it off it should hold up fine. Mine has for almost 3 years, but I don't commute on the bike every day - not even close. The fanny pack thing that comes with the cover is crap and fell apart pretty quickly so I just use a stuff sack for camping. Works great and packs pretty small (about a full size loaf of bread).

Don - I have a 46L Givi top case on the rear and the MRA Vario touring screen (with spoiler) on a Madstad bracket on the front. The N-R half cover covers all that with no problem. Pretty much perfect size for the Tenere.
