Hello all, I just bought a used 2014 S-10. I hitched a ride from my home in Central WA to the thriving Craigs List market of the greater Seattle area. My new to me ride came with many goodies and a few loose ends (some BS electrical work that I will try and track down and disassemble). All and all a good value and everything works as it should for the moment (still in that new relationship faze where you have to worry a bit). Of course like most of you I read everything I could online for several years before pulling the trigger. For me the "its boring and reliable" was the best selling point as I love reliable and have aged far enough to avoid smoking crack if its offered to me and would rather stop at a beer or two. What I suppose Im trying to say is that I do not really trust myself with a rocket ship and have learned the hard way what a truly fast bike will do to my will power. At the moment I have a project bike (possible hipster type thing) that I crashed many years back and hope to rebuild as well as a Indian scooter (Bajaj Chetak plus parts bike) and my 99klr which is what pushed me to the S-10. I am excited for the new ride and look forward to learning from you all.
