This one is 1L size the old 1.8L is $15.00 more, still a good deal.
My 1.8L is still kicking..
Thing is their not offering the extra pot stand attachment like they did when i bought the 1.8L a few years back.
Haven't found a Promo code for discount.

I have a feeling these [deleted by CW] are made knockoffs, will leave someone with a cold dinner when they break. I looked at the quality of these cheap pieces of crap. You truly are getting what you pay for.

I have had my Jet Boil for over 10 years and it has never once let me down. Yes it costs a bit more but worth the money and heats up water super fast even at really high elevations.

Ramsey was trying to pass along what he thought was helpful. Take it as such.

While talking quality or actual experience makes sense, the pruning shears are now in action for the personal, racist, &/or slam content.
Keep it up and the rust will come off the bus for the sudden trip to Banned Camp.

I disagree with you Oldrider. He could have just said China. Just because you have not experienced it to be a derogatory comment does not make it invalid. These forums are mostly anonymous. I don't know everyone on this forum just like you don't know everyone.

Hey buy the Jet Boil, my friend has one, i have a knock off pay the extra if you like.
The one i have has been going strong since i bought it with not one bad event.
Your still buying it from the same factory in China, $400.00 YETI cooler or $110.00 Ozark Trail.
I pass this stuff along for the forum folks not just a single individual, no reason to whip up into a foam over it.
Ride safe this year.

It’s all about choices. I try not to buy copy cat stuff myself. It has bit me in the butt more than once. Made in China cheap silicone radiator hoses come to mind. They ruptured leaving me riding a bike back to my truck with no coolant.

So an American company works hard to develop a great stove, and then a Chinese company knocks it off with zero investment at a quarter the cost using sweat shop labor. Your choice.

Sweat shop A or Sweat Shop B?
Slice it anyway you like, amazing how this turned into a SJW crusade over a freaking stove.
Someone is sweating to build them both and no doubt in China.
Take it for what it's worth so far it's working good for me, simply don't buy one.
Hell even Snow Peak sold out years ago it's no longer made in Japan.
All corporate business with investors sell out one time or another for their investors greed, stop the investors and maybe stuff will stay in the country of design.
My friend was a die hard Patagonia buyer, he's like "It's made in U.S.A."!! I'm like, "when is the last time you read clothing labels Bro"?
Time for a road trip.
