Was news to. Happened today in a tight left hander with a lot of lean. It touched and unloaded both tires briefly. Slight pucker moment. I caught it with the throttle. No bump mid corner it just touched. My hero peg has long been gone from grinding. Just a heads up for you heavy leaners.

If it's been discussed please diregard I don't read every day on here.

I had the same thing happen with my RideOnADV except on the right side. Riser links and setting the rear preload to max helped.

Twisty this happened on 180 in GA since I see you are from GA you'd know the road. It got the mount bolt to on the head.

Yes, I do know 180 very well, but it happened on Fort Mountain (Hwy. 52).

My Alt Rider plate came with the rear bracket about an inch longer (to much drop) than it needed to be. I had about 2" of space between the engine and the plate.
I took an inch out of the rear bracket and mounted the front to the frame pulling it up to within an inch of the engine.

Looks like yours is hanging low.

That's not going to work real well on this type bike.

And I might add yes I know that riding posture since I frequent a race track quite often. No need to give out instructions I was only making reference to the low ass plate. ::) the tenere IMO has the worst ground to peg clearance of any bike I've owned. Even my stroms were better. Might as well be on a Harley.

Do you have any pics? Just for a future reference. I'm planing to buy that plate and would be nice to know.

I second this. Some pics if that mod would be helpful as I suspect mine is low in the rear.

If you notice the piece of bracket with the square hole was cut out and re welded. thus taking an inch out of the drop.

Then the front is mounted to the Yamaha cross bar.

I know this, hence the lingo.

on a side note, and I am sure you now this, shifting your weight will work to decrease your lean angle on any bike. I am sure you have seen the Goldwing on the track boobtube video ::014::

I installed links (DOG BONES) to raise my bike 7/8". Ten min to install, best thing I ever did to the S10. I ride the Dragon 129 all the time and was hitting pegs, side bag and my left foot had no where to go. (as you all know the muffler takes up alot of space).
