You didn't say what color your bike will be. I'm thinking with all that silver, those farkles would like nice on a Raven.

Blue bike, Silver Jesse Bags Silver Alt Rider parts.

I might try and get the silver side pieces from overseas instead of the black parts Yamaha is putting on bikes for the US

Bike colour is only important if you wash the bike :D

Expecting to go into battle? I would guess there is more armor there than in the average military hummer.

Received my crash bars and skid plate yesterday. Very impressed! Beautiful welds, tube bends and the tube "fish lips" are excellent.

These are top quality items. I'm glad I spent the few extra dollars to get these. The quality of fit and finish is superb and it appears the design is superior to anything else out there.

I have to tip my hat to ALTRider. Well done!

That's good to know. Altrider is on the top of my list for those two items. They will be my last and final pre-farks for the Tenere. They have a Canadian distributor now, so I'm good to go as soon as appropriate revenue is generated. Fins to the bone. R

It's okay, Venture. Now I feel much better about talking about my icy driveway in the Delivery Dates thread. Oh, it's about 20 °F here again this morning. You know what to do. R

Nah, I saw the bike at an open house and the extra stuff looks like fun. I have my KTM set up with heavier guards etc and I don't regret doing that,... so I thought i would set up the Tenere the same.

I am pretty comfortable with the bike and it's ergonomics so I have a box of other stuff to install upon delivery

BTW I can't stand any of the Mad Max movies.
