Alt rider crashbars installation kit

Hello everybody, just wondering if anyone know what are the sizes of the bolts used to install this bars, i took it of and i misplaced the bolts , i contacted Altrider but they don't disclose this info and want me to pay 20 dollars for 6 bolts and 6 washers, hope some one knows how long i need to buy this bolts,

These are metric bolts. The sizes are given. M12 is the diameter 12mm. 30 is the length 30mm. Hardware stores or a home improvement box store will have them.

Another question , the only bolts i can find with this measurements it has a 1.25 x the 30 or 40 , are this the correct bolts ? sorry for al the trouble
M12-1.25 x 30 mm
8 mm-1.25 x 40 mm
M8-1.25 x 16

The 1.25 has to do with the threads. 1.25 are coarse thread for M8 and extra fine thread for M12. I would guess that the M12 should be 1.75 coarse thread. Generally most bolts that we use are coarse threaded.

Not 1.75. Way to coarse. I think they were 1.50, might even been the harder to find 1.25. You can pull one of the front motormount bolts and confirm the pitch. I seem to remember one of the side mounting bolts is longer than the others. If nothing else is layered in to the mix up front you should be able to use the factory bolts. If you plan on an ACD bash plate, finding or making a couple 60mm long studs is a big plus.

they all are 1.25 pitch took one of each of the bike and took them to Home depot , thank you very much, ill get this installed tomorrow

I would think the grade of the bolt should be important also. I also agree with Don, studs are better to use if running the ACD skid plate. That's what I did. I bought some grade five rod and made studs.

i already have the sw motech skid plate, but will see how it goes with what i have tomorrow
