Good evening,
I have searched this site plus every where else and I can't find the answer, does the super tenere have a air injection system? The little wr250r has one, can find plenty of talk about it. Wiki article describes the AIS only works at idle to warm cats faster, how does the tenere get around this?
Thanks

I know in the automotive field, they're placing the cats as close to the engine block as possible. "They say" that it allows the engine to warm up quicker, which in turn uses less fuel. I know the cats on my Jeep can't get any closer; it goes: flange, 3'' pipe, cat. Another benefit is that within a mile, I can get warm air coming out of the vents....even in the winter.
