I've made a few sets of these fork guards that are "very similar" to the ones from Yamaha to try to accommodate those like myself who want good looking fork protection but don't need $600 carbon fiber ones. These are made out of aircraft quality fiberglass so they are durable and cant be more than a matter of grams heavier than the carbon fiber units. I am setting a base price of $150 for a set that are ready for finish sanding and paint of your choice but if you are handy and would like to do more of the finish work yourself to save some $ just shoot me a PM and I will do my best to work something out. Like I said, Im not trying to get rich here, just trying to help others like myself and pay for my time and materials. Flat black is easy for pretty much anybody to do at home and will go with pretty much any color bike (which another member here did to his set of my fork guards). Or you can vinyl wrap them as I did mine (see below). I did them in a 3D carbon fiber vinyl which looks pretty realistic, was only about $5, and went on pretty easily for my first time ever vinyl wrapping anything. Shipping will be a flat $15.
