Spellcheck eh? I sense a lambada here

The o2 sensors are just for emissions regs and don’t help performance or rideability at all, in fact they make it worse! Better to get a proper fuel map and shut off closed loop (and lambda o2 sensors). Most tuners agree that the ignition tables on the ST are ok, and just need about 3% more fuel at low revs and 8-10% less fuel towards wide open throttle.

Just went to stock headers today. Went to work with the Arrow this morning(as usual) and test drive the bike after I removed the Arrow .
Engine feels much smooth. Sure it don’t rev as fast but feels smoother than with the headers. Less vibes, on and off throttle are less brutal too.
I have check with a light in the exhaust portin the engine head and can definitively see whitish powder inside...
Same day , same condition- engine runs cooler by 2-3 deg celsius.
For now, can’t afford a flash-tune-dyno or melted spark tip ...

MattR Why do you disconnect the Lambada sensors. Aren't they essential for the ecu fueling.
I get the fuel maps set precisely during the Dyno runs so that the map is specific to my engine. If I left the lambdas connected they would constantly be trying to adjust the map back to yamahas original settings which as we know is not ideal due to emissions regulations.

Just fitted the Arrow can to my arrow headers. Everything else is stock but I’m booked in for a Dyno ecu flash at the end of the month. I’ll be keeping the DB killer in as this is my work commuter bike used on 5:30 am shift starts. I’m going to get her tuned for extra grunt low down and not so worried about top end ( if I want to go fast I’ll take my other bike). Once that is done I’ll be taking her to MCT for a full suspension tune looking for maximum comfort. This is why I keep my bikes. I spend so much time and money getting them just the way I like them that it seem silly to sell them and start again.

Me too. You just got to pick the right bikes. I've had a few back in the day that I made a hasty call on. They didn't last long.

Have you got an ES or normal S10. Would be interested to hear if Darren can service the ES suspension. Top firm MCT did my 800 Tiger.

Mines a normal S10 for that very reason. But I’ll ask him when I’m there.
