Hi All,
I made this 3D printed ABS toolbox for Super Tenere. And I am happy to share the 3D models.
The standard locking mechanism was used (the one that came with the bike). So it can be opened with ignition key
Here is the full video about it:

This model is perfect for GIVI/KAPPA trekker boxes mounts :)
Here is how it looks after 3D printing:

And here is after paint and installation:

Just think what this guy could do with a workbench instead of wobbly tables. All kidding aside, very well done video and end product toolbox (enjoyed the music as well). If I still had the Tenere I would interested in making one.

I will need to check that and will return to you...
Hi josephgleyzer,
did you manage to measure the space please? I ask about this because in other "toolbox threads" (for example here) I read that "Yamaha lists the rear wheel travel at 7.5" so obviously if you hit something hard enough you would jam the brake caliper into the bottom of the tool box"

With only 4.5 inches of space, I will not install this now. I take my Tenere off road and would hate to damage the brake or loose the box in the wheel.

It is a wonderful design, but the depth of the box would need to be shortened by an inch to miss the caliper travel. A 3 inch box would still offer plenty of storage space.

How hard is it to change the design depth of the box to 3 inches vs current 4 inches?
